Robert Half Dispatcher in Orange, California
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the critical infrastructure industry, based in Orange, California. The opening is for a Dispatcher who will manage the dispatching of a team across OC and LA counties. This role demands a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize company procedures and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency and control
• Handle customer complaints, identify the root cause, provide the best solution, expedite the correction or adjustment, and follow up to confirm resolution
• Maintain high levels of customer service and exploit up-selling opportunities to promote services and products to each customer organization
• Foster customer retention by building rapport and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Manage timely and accurate dispatching of all calls including emergency service calls, coordination of inspections, installation, coordination of PMAs, QWOs, customer service complaints and 3rd party coordination of inspections or repairs
• Generate accurate monthly reports and metrics
• Verify, correct, delete, or add data before entering into the dispatch system
• Audit work to identify errors, duplicate information, and to obtain information needed for incomplete documents before submitting or completing the final product
• Exhibit strong communication skills and provide clear instructions to technicians and customers
• Assist other team members as needed and perform other duties as required Requirements • Proficiency in dispatching and coordinating logistics
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Products
• Experience in administrative assistance
