Robert Half Event Coordinator in Orange, California

Description We are in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry, based in Orange, California. We are seeking an Event Coordinator, primarily focused on managing sponsorships and events. The role entails working with organizations seeking sponsorship, coordinating event activations, and maintaining relationships with our sponsored organizations. The role also requires flexibility to work outside of normal business hours for events that happen at night or on weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Support sponsorship management by tracking and coordinating outside sponsorship requests

• Interact with organizations to secure required information for sponsorships

• Serve as a liaison between sponsorship management and marketing administration regarding payment information

• Update sponsorship calendar regularly and track sponsorship portfolio

• Foster and maintain relationships with the organizations we sponsor

• Assist in coordinating activations such as giveaways and collateral for awareness events

• Support sponsorship management in coordinating attendance and activations for networking and professional events

• Assist sponsorship management in setting up and coordinating booth and event staff for community events

• Provide primary support for event attendance including booth activations and management

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to invite and confirm guest attendance for events such as galas and speaking engagements

• Ensure representation in a positive and professional manner in all events

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Ensure reliable transportation for event materials between the marketing office and events in the Orange County area.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The necessary skills include BeOS, Chef, CRM, Crystal Reports, Fusion, About Time, Budget Processes, Catering, Communication, Customer Service, Event Coordination, and Corporate Sponsorships. Requirements • Proficient in BeOS, Chef, CRM, Crystal Reports and Fusion software

• Experience with 'About Time' time management software

• Knowledge of budget processes in the healthcare and social assistance industry

• Proven experience in catering and event coordination

• Demonstrated ability to secure corporate sponsorships

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment

• Prior experience in an event coordinator role within a similar industry is preferred. Innovation starts with people.®
