Description
Our prestigious law firm is actively looking to hire a motivated and talented Insurance Defense Attorney. This critical role will involve providing impressive legal services across a multitude of insurance defense matters, from personal injury to premises liability, and workers' compensation cases. Despite being an Orange County-based position, it offers an entirely remote work setting.
Responsibilities:
Represent insurance companies and their policyholders in civil litigation matters
Manage a caseload of complex insurance defense files from inception through trial
Conduct legal research, analyze legal issues, and interpret laws and regulations
Negotiate settlements, attend mediations, hearings, and arbitrations
Draft comprehensive legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions
Requirements
Qualifications:
J.D. degree from an accredited law school
Member in good standing of the California State Bar
Minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation, at least 2 in insurance defense
