Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Orange Park, Florida
Description We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in the transport industry, based in Orange Park, Florida. This role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Utilize SAP for various accounting tasks
• Apply knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) in day-to-day operations
• Read and prepare financial statements and conduct basic financial analysis
• Reconcile accounts regularly for accuracy
• Review work of staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, and SAP to perform tasks effectively. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with SAP software a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
