Description
Rockland County based manufacturing company seeking Cost Accounting Manager on a contract-to-hire basis! The interim Cost Accounting Manager will be a hands-on individual who will drive monthly close activities, variances analysis, manage inventory analysis, build out standard costs, contribute to routine budgeting responsibilities, review BOMs and scrap, and ensure accuracy across all categories. The Cost Accounting Manager will have an eye for identifying cost savings opportunities, monitoring general overhead costs, and ensure compliance with internal controls. The ideal Cost Accounting Manager will be proficient with AS400 and Cognos, and will have strong Excel skills. Prior experience in large manufacturing companies is highly desirable.
