Robert Half Software Developer (C#, MS Stack) in ORANGEBURG, New York
The developer will work closely with the leadership and the business users on the business requirement implementation.
Hands-on work in terms of developing prototypes, code development or evaluating technologies.
Works with the in-house and external teams to drive the development efforts to support and enhance the systems.
Supports and creates the EDI interfaces and other C# applications to develop the business processes to support the company supply chain operations.
Conduct code reviews and execute test plans. Coordinate with appropriate persons to ensure compliance with change and release management cycles.
Perform system design, recommended configurations, and go-live efforts.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain endpoints for integrations.
Troubleshoots and fixes bugs and performance issues in the ERP applications.
Creates and modifies SSRS reports. Creates and modifies SSIS packages to export import data.
Knows when to use existing ERP functionality and when to customize.
The individual also produces technical documentation for all changes performed on the ERP system.
Works independently as well as collaborating with end users, managers, and fellow members of the IT Team.
This role will create solutions and manage custom modules in the ERP system to improve IT services to the business, working collaboratively with business teams to ensure consistent availability and performance of the system.
Keeps project management team up to date with project status such as, revisions and questions on requirements and documentations for projects.
Helps project leads in analysis, design, development, and support.
Follow all corporate policies and Procedures.
Provides training and support to the users.
The role will follow the Microsoft best practices, business analysis and recommendations.
C# programming (Mandatory)
Experience with the Miscrosoft Stack
Business Intelligence tools: 2 years (Power BI)
Development and document processing with EDI: 2 years (Preferred)
System diagramming using any model language (Preferred)
Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have:
Experience working in the Manufacturing industry
