Description
Our growing client has an opportunity for a Billing and Payroll Specialist in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The role involves working across different areas such as billing, payroll and administrative tasks within the organization. This role is ideal for someone who can handle a variety of tasks and is ready to take on a challenge.
Responsibilities:
• Handle billing tasks, which constitute the majority of the role, including time and materials billing for commercial clients and project billings
• Manage payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Handle job costing duties, applying an understanding of the construction industry
• Ensure strong attention to detail in all tasks, maintaining accurate records and information
• Show a strong drive and motivation to learn new things and take on challenges
• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• ERP system will be utilized for billing and payroll
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in billing functions and understanding of billing procedures.
• Experience with Foundation Software is preferred, but any ERP system will work.
• Familiarity with automated payroll systems.
• Experience in managing weekly payroll.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
