Robert Half is currently offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Orlando, Florida. This role Accounts Payable position will focus on full cycle accounts payable and assisting with month end responsibilities. The successful candidate will be adept at using Oracle and MS Excel to analyze and enter invoices and prepare weekly status reports.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the full cycle of accounts payable efficiently and accurately

• Utilize Oracle for various accounting tasks

• Assist with month end duties as required

• Analyze invoices and ensure they are correctly entered into the system

• Generate weekly status reports to keep track of accounting activities

• Utilize MS Excel for data entry and analysis

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Experience with accounting software systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
