Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity at a university in Orlando, Florida, for an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be pivotal in managing financial tasks such as matching invoices, data entry, and assisting in the processes of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the process of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Execute data entry tasks with precision.

• Match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers.

• Maintain attention to detail while multitasking.

• Utilize Excel Formulas effectively for accounting purposes.

• Contribute to Month End Close procedures.

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and the team. Requirements • Proficiency in using Excel Formulas, particularly in the context of accounting and finance.

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including processing, recording, and tracking incoming payments.

• Proven ability to handle Month End Close tasks, including account reconciliations and financial report preparations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited university.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within an educational institution.

• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Familiarity with accounting software and databases.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Willingness to continuously improve and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
