We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounts Payable Associate based in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a hybrid (mainly onsite) position that provides an opportunity for contract to hire. The role is predominantly in the financial industry and requires the ability to perform various clerical duties, process invoices, and maintain an understanding of common practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out various clerical duties, such as document scanning and copying.

• Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

• Utilize knowledge of common accounts payable practices and procedures.

• Maintain and manage customer credit records efficiently.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve them promptly.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when needed.

• Ensure adherence to standard practices within the industry.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and financial data.

• Collaborate with team members and report to the supervisor or manager.

• Continuously update skills and industry knowledge to provide high-quality services to customers.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Familiarity with standard accounting procedures

• Ability to handle clerical duties efficiently

• Experience in invoice processing and management

• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles

• Proficiency in scanning and organizing documents

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document processing

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
