Robert Half Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in Orlando, Florida

Description We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant for our team located in Orlando, Florida, 32809, United States. This role is within the Wholesale Distribution industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The BI Consultant will play a pivotal role in replicating reports and building them out into Tableau, helping us to streamline and improve our business intelligence processes.

Responsibilities:

• Replicate existing SSRS reports and convert them into Tableau format

• Work closely with our team to understand report requirements and deliver accurate, insightful Tableau reports

• Utilize your skills in SSRS Reports and Tableau to enhance our business intelligence capabilities

• Monitor and maintain accuracy of customer records, ensuring data integrity

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Process customer credit applications efficiently, adhering to our company guidelines

• Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on our internal processes and rules

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the business intelligence department

• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence to help improve our processes Requirements • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in the wholesale distribution industry is essential.

• Proficiency in SSRS Reports and Tableau is required.

• Ability to interpret business data and translate it into actionable strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Proven track record of successfully implementing BI strategies and solutions.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Knowledge of data warehousing and database design principles.

• Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies would be advantageous.

• Understanding of data privacy standards and regulations.
