Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Orlando, Florida

Description We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Orlando, Florida, who will play a crucial role in supporting financial reporting processes and some accounting duties. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with responsibilities including cash handling, dynamic accruals, loading reporting data into Hyperion, and undertaking special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support financial reporting processes and some accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Handle cash and dynamic accruals, ensuring these are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Load reporting data into Hyperion, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.

• Embark on special projects as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the financial operations.

• Utilize strong analytical skills to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy in all tasks.

• Use excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to maintain professional client, reinsurer, and internal relationships.

• Employ business knowledge of insurance concepts and contracts (treaty) experience in daily operations.

• Leverage Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, for efficient data processing and reporting.

• Utilize skills in Business systems, Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Hyperion Enterprise, and Hyperion Financial Reporting. Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry

• Proficient in business systems and CRM

• Strong understanding and experience with accounting functions

• Proficiency in auditing, budget processes, and capital management

• Significant experience with Hyperion Enterprise and Hyperion Financial Reporting

• Ability to plan, analyze, and manage financial information

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
