Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Construction Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is based in Ormond Beach, Florida, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling a range of responsibilities from processing financial transactions to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Handling the full cycle of accounting duties or assist the accountants with such tasks.

• Processing transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.

• Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, process payroll and conduct bank reconciliations.

• Ensuring timely processing of data and the resolution of any discrepancies.

• Performing month-end closing procedures and updates.

• Utilizing accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.

• Monitoring financial transactions and reports.

• Processing invoices, transactions and other financial records for accuracy.

• Managing the accurate and timely processing of invoice payments.

• Conducting regular audits and report findings to the management.

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks

• Experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Skills in conducting bank reconciliations and bookkeeping

• Experience with month-end close processes

• Knowledge of payroll systems

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
