Robert Half Sr Tax Accountant in Osceola, Wisconsin

Description We are in need of a Tax Sr. - Corporate to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This role involves preparing individual and business tax returns, assisting with tax planning, and working effectively with different tax and accounting software applications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with an understanding of accounting functions, auditing, and budget processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns to ensure compliance

• Assist with tax planning to minimize tax liabilities and ensure that tax affairs are maintained in an efficient manner

• Understand and effectively use current tax and accounting software applications to complete engagements

• Ensure all client deliverables, including financials, reports, and tax filings, are completed accurately and professionally

• Prepare compiled financial statements to assist in business decision making

• Work as an effective team member to complete project components and assignment tasks

• Research technical tax issues to provide accurate and up-to-date advice

• Build working relationships at peer and client level to maintain open lines of communication

• Stay updated with market trends and business developments in the accounting industry

• Document work effectively and pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with various ERP Solutions

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently

• Knowledge of Auditing and Budget Processes

• Experience in handling Cash Activity and ensuring Compliance

• Ability to prepare Individual Tax Return and other tax-related tasks

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Tax or related field

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.
