Robert Half Pricing Associate in Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Pricing Associate in the manufacturing industry based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The role involves meticulous attention to detail and strong excel skills, requiring the successful candidate to process customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and undertake various tasks related to invoice reviews and data validation.
Responsibilities:
• Lead daily order verification procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with the finance team on monthly, quarterly, and annual invoice reviews. • Identify training issues and areas for process improvement by reviewing accounts frequently. • Validate data collected for Vault data collection. • Support non-order verification reporting as a backup. • Ensure SOX compliance is maintained at all times. • Review orders and pricing for accuracy, working closely with Customer Service and Pricing Analysts. • Assist in data analysis and report generation using excel and other software tools. • Support pricing associates with price quote requests and other tasks as needed. • Excel in a high-pressure environment, meeting deadlines, and maintaining strong communication and collaboration skills. Requirements • Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a Billing Clerk role or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Strong communication skills are essential for this role
• Experience in pricing analysis is necessary
• The ability to generate detailed reports is required
• Proven experience in providing accurate price quotes is desired
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• High attention to detail and organizational skills are needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent educational level is required
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements is a plus
• Familiarity with data entry, filing, and record keeping procedures in a billing context is beneficial
• Strong mathematical and numerical skills are essential
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in using billing software and other relevant computer applications is preferred.
