We are seeking an experienced Accounting Program Manager to become a vital part of our client's business operations team. This role will focus on accounting and finance-related activities, liaising closely with our accounting and finance teams, senior management, and technology teams. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

  • Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

  • Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant

  • Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Accounting Financial Transformation leader will be expected to:

• Oversee the implementation of digitization initiatives while working collaboratively with management and cross-functional teams

• Identify gaps in current business procedures, team structures, and technology stacks as per industry best practice

• Develop roadmaps for process improvement and digitization projects

• Manage backlog and prioritization of functional areas while maintaining regular communication regarding status with leadership

• Lead change management for various projects including updates to business procedures and initiatives

• Manage data and ensure data integrity

• Oversee and create documentation, business process flows, and training definitions

• Identify gaps in reporting and data analytics for KPIs, SLAs, team and executive reporting.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience • A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, technology, or a similar field

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and related technology stacks

• Experience managing cross-functional projects from start to finish

The following would be advantageous:

• 15+ years' accounting experience, with a focus on the Data Center industry and/or real estate sector

• Proficiency in e-Builder or Procore • Experience with Workday, Oracle, or SAP software

• Consulting firm experience

• Experience in the real estate, construction, or development industry.
