Description
We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves a mix of financial reporting and lease accounting tasks. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
• Prepare audited consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Complete monthly and quarterly reporting using OneStream
• Manage all leases, ensuring compliance and posting required monthly adjusting entries and roll forwards
• Update leases and add new leases using LeaseQuery
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems such as SAP and Microsoft NAV for various accounting functions
• Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet Account in line with GAAP Accounting principles
• Prepare and present Audited Financial Statements as required.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Financial Reporting Manager for a minimum of 3 years.
• In-depth knowledge of Accounting Software Systems.
• Proficiency in ERP Solutions.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in managing Balance Sheet Account.
• Familiarity with GAAP Accounting principles.
• Proven experience in preparing Audited Financial Statements.
• Knowledge of Lease Accounting principles.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Experience with Microsoft NAV.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
