Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inside Salesperson to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves supporting our sales operations within the logistics industry. You will be responsible for generating sales leads, assisting with customer quotes, and making high volume outbound calls.

Responsibilities:

• Generate sales leads through cold calling.

• Assist with customer quotes, providing accurate and timely information.

• Make high volume outbound calls to potential customers.

• Work closely with senior management to develop sales strategies.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook to manage customer data and communication.

• Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive relationships with clients.

• Utilize inside sales skills to achieve sales targets.

• Understand and navigate the transportation logistics industry to better serve our customers.

• Operate within a call center environment, handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook is essential.

• Demonstrable experience in a customer service role.

• Prior experience in inside sales would be highly beneficial.

• A background in transportation logistics is desirable.

• Ability to effectively handle customer service in a call center environment.

• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work according to business needs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
