Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Owatonna, Minnesota
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based in Owatonna, Minnesota. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining precise documentation. This role involves a range of responsibilities, from inventory management to office procedures oversight.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and enter vendor invoices in a timely manner
• Handle incoming phone calls professionally and address vendor inquiries
• Oversee office procedures and suggest improvements when necessary
• Keep track of office and cleaning supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked and orderly
• Regularly check email accounts and address all requests promptly
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the office on a regular basis
• Create and follow up on purchase orders daily, ensuring all items are accounted for
• Perform inventory management tasks as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work
• Carry out any additional duties as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Demonstrable experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices.
• Data Entry skills and experience in Invoice Processing are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Must have strong ethical standards and integrity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
