Description We are inviting applications for the position of Sr. Accountant to join our team based in Oxnard, California. This role is crucial within our organization where you will be primarily engaged in inventory control, cost analysis, and general ledger management.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing accounting operations related to inventory, which includes performing reconciliations and generating reports.
• Conducting cost analysis to identify variations and implementing necessary corrective measures.
• Preparing and scrutinizing monthly financial reports and updating forecasts.
• Ensuring adherence to established accounting policies and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handling journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
• Assisting in the preparation for the annual audit.
• Utilizing advanced Excel formulas to manage and analyze data.
• Balancing and reconciling bank statements and account records.
• Using the Famous ERP system for efficient inventory analysis and management.
• Executing month-end close procedures accurately and timely.
• Leveraging your skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger operations
• Proficiency in Journal Entries
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close
• Knowledge of Famous software
• Ability to conduct Cost Analysis
• Experience in Inventory Analysis
• Proficiency in using Excel Formulas
