Description
We are on the search for a diligent Accounting Specialist to be a part of our team, based in Palm Beach, Florida. This role offers an employment opportunity, where the incumbent will be instrumental in managing a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledgers, and investigating purchases for potential fraud.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable duties, ensuring all transactions are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
• Conduct regular audits on purchases to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
• Utilize accounting software systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Great Plains (GPAC) to optimize accounting operations.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
• Oversee check processing activities, ensuring all checks are issued and cleared properly.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed.
• Handle billing functions, ensure all invoices are issued correctly and payments are received on time.
• Display proficiency in various accounting functions to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the team to address and resolve customer inquiries related to accounting.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Familiarity with Concur is important.
• Skilled in using Great Plains (GPAC) is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is a must.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Knowledge of Billing Functions is important.
• Experience in Check Processing is required.
