Description
We are offering an immediate contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk or Processor in Palo Alto, California. The primary function of this role is to work within the medical industry, managing and maintaining the accounts payable processes. This will entail handling past due invoices, interacting with other departments for correct invoices/POs, managing corrections and correspondence, and ensuring no backlog in AP. Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the accounts payable processes in an efficient manner
• Handle past due invoices and ensure their timely processing
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure the correctness of invoices and purchase orders
• Manage corrections and correspondence related to accounts payable
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to prevent any backlog in the accounts payable
• Utilize MS Office to maintain accurate records and for other administrative tasks
• Apply skills in 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Batching', and 'Coding Invoices' to effectively perform job responsibilities.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position.
• Coupa Software is a requirement
• Demonstrated experience in Batching and Coding Invoices.
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
