Deal Desk Analyst (Up to 1-year contract)

Job Summary:

You will support a large global technology company during a divestiture period.

The Deal Desk Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the deal approval process, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing strategic insights to support sales growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the deal desk process, including reviewing and approving sales proposals and contracts.

  • Ensure all deals comply with internal policies and guidelines, including pricing, discounting, and contract terms.

  • Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and other departments to facilitate deal approvals and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

  • Provide pricing guidance and support to the sales team, leveraging data-driven insights to recommend optimal pricing strategies.

  • Analyze deal structures and financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of deal desk processes and policies.

  • Generate regular reports on deal performance, pipeline metrics, and other key sales data.

  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.

  • Conduct training sessions for sales team members on deal desk processes and best practices.

  • Assist in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B sales environment.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and/or Oracle is highly desirable. CPQ experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
