This full-time position is located in the peninsula and not considering remote or out of state candidates.

Job Description: As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid timely and accurately. You will also work closely with the human resources department to manage and resolve payroll-related issues. Your accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality will be critical to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing payroll schedules and ensuring all employees are paid on time.

  • Processing and calculating pay according to hours worked, benefits, and deductions.

  • Ensuring compliance with current tax and labor laws.

  • Managing and resolving payroll-related queries and issues.

  • Collaborating with HR and accounting teams on payroll and benefits reporting.

  • Maintaining and updating employee records.

  • Developing regular reports on payroll activities for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll tax law.

  • Proficient with payroll software.

  • Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
