Portfolio Reporting Manager - Fund in Palo Alto, California

Our client is an global private equity investor with over $80 billion in assets under management.

They are looking for Portfolio and Valuations professional to join the team at the Manager or Senior Manager level.

This role will assist with development of high-growth software and technology portfolio companies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect, maintain, curate and benchmark a variety of financial and operational metrics from portfolio companies

  • Interface with investment professionals, senior finance teams at portfolio companies and fund administrators to coordinate the collection and quality assurance of data

  • Enter and review investment data entered into the internally developed Investment Database

  • Perform quarterly valuation and financial updates on majority buyout and minority growth investments with input from investment team and auditors for the purposes of LP and internal reporting

  • Responsible for generating investment-related reporting to management, investment teams, and fund accountants and perform ad-hoc portfolio reporting requests across the portfolio

  • Prepare investment-related data included Limited Partner Services (LPS) communications Systems Used

    Requirements

Key requirements include

  • 6+ years of experience in the following categories: (no preferences)

  • Big 4/national CPA firms in transaction services/valuation/financial due diligence/advisory team

  • Working for another VC/PE/asset management firm doing financial reporting

  • Working for a tech firm in a finance capacity

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
