Description
Colleen McAuliffe 408.906.0669 is seeking a Property Accountant for her client in a Residential and commercial property management firm, with an emphasis on prime Silicon Valley markets. The company operates assets in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Millbrae, Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, Carmel, and Fresno.
The firm has been established for 40 years and has about 60 employees. A family business where the two sons are beginning to build infrastructure to scale with the growth of the company. Working with the CEO in building out their accounting/finance group. These opportunities are really exciting as you will have the opportunity to create the role and work directly with the CEO.
100% in-office role
Keys
• Real Estate experience is a MUST; ideally in the commercial area
• Familiar with Yardi
• 3 plus years of AP experience (GL experience not required)
• Great communication skills (verbal and written) as the selected candidate will be interfacing with tenants and onsite property managers.
Requirements
3+ Years Accounting Experience as a Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant level
3+ years property management experince
ability to work independently and part of a team
comfort working in a small office family-oriented environment
great work-life balance job (no overtime, and no weekends)
