Description

We are offering a rewarding role in the healthcare industry for a Senior Financial Analyst, based in Palo Alto, California. This position demands a candidate with a robust background in accounting and financial analysis, particularly within the hospital and healthcare sector. The successful individual will join our finance analytics team and play a vital part in our operations. This role is 100% remote but you must work PDT hours. Pay is up to $65/hr. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive revenue analysis in compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.

• Perform EPIC mapping for General Ledger transactions to facilitate financial reporting and data analytics.

• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities, including Power Query and Power Pivot, to automate data processing and analysis.

• Provide detailed revenue analytics, including trend analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Act as the primary liaison with auditors, manage audit processes, and prepare PBC requests.

• Oversee Accounts Receivable valuation processes, ensuring thorough understanding and accuracy in balance sheet validation.

• Leverage data mining techniques to extract and analyze financial data.

• Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to the team.

• Execute accounting functions and manage budget processes as required.

• Handle expense reporting and maintain accurate financial records.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. This position will not transition into a permanent or full-time role.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst, preferably 5 years or more

• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques and Data Analysis

• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, and Expense Reporting

• Strong ability to Perform Data Analysis and Data Analytics

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas, Power Pivot, and Power Query

• Experience in Audit PBC lists and understanding of Prepared By Client (PBC) procedures

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Flux Analysis

• Ability to Analyze Revenues effectively

• CPA certification is required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Detail-oriented and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
