Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Global Payroll Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and optimizing payroll processes. You will work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our global workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with HR to gather and verify employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.

  • Prepare and maintain payroll records, including salary calculations, deductions, and bonuses.

  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Stay updated on international payroll regulations and tax laws, advising management on necessary changes.

  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

  • Assist in year-end payroll processing, including tax reporting and reconciliations.

  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate information.

  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements related to payroll software.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a global payroll role.

  • Strong knowledge of international payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance issues.

  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems; experience with [specific software, if applicable].

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in payroll management (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.

  • Experience with multinational corporations and diverse employee populations.

  • Familiarity with global benefits and compensation practices.
