Description

Our client, a leader in healthcare and hospital systems, is seeking a Workday Financials Training Manager to support their system implementation. This role will take the lead in developing training materials (quick reference guides, job aids, demonstrations and tests, etc.) as well as partner with cross-functional teams to construct design and content. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years experience in instructional design, supporting the Workday Finance module and finance function within the healthcare industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Training Development and Delivery

Course Design: Develop comprehensive training programs and materials, including manuals, guides, presentations, and hands-on exercises tailored to the specific needs of the organization.

Conducting Sessions: Deliver training sessions in various formats such as in-person workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions. These sessions might cover topics like financial accounting, asset management, procurement, expenses, and financial reporting within Workday.

Custom Training: Tailor training content to align with the specific business processes and workflows of the organization.

Knowledge Transfer:

End-User Training: Equip end-users with the necessary skills to perform their day-to-day tasks using Workday Financials, ensuring they understand how to navigate the system and utilize its functionalities effectively.

Technical Training: Provide more in-depth training for technical teams, including IT staff and system administrators, focusing on system configuration, integration, and maintenance.

Support and Guidance

Post-Training Support: Offer ongoing support to users after the initial training sessions to help them troubleshoot issues and answer any questions that arise as they begin to use the system.

Best Practices: Share best practices for using Workday Financials to optimize financial processes and improve overall efficiency.

Testing and Validation:

Scenario Testing: Work with project teams to create and test real-world scenarios within Workday Financials to ensure the system meets business requirements.

Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from users on the training materials and sessions, and make necessary adjustments to improve future training efforts.

Continuous Improvement

Staying Updated: Keep up with updates and new features in Workday Financials to ensure training materials are current and users are informed about new functionalities and enhancements.

Skill Development: Continuously improve personal expertise in Workday Financials through certifications, training, and hands-on experience.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Working with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the organization’s financial processes and ensure training aligns with overall business goals.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for training materials, user guides, and support resources.

In essence, you are responsible for empowering users to effectively and efficiently use the Workday Financials system, ensuring that the organization can leverage the software to meet its financial management objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications

-Minimum of three (3) years experience in instructional design,

preferably in a healthcare or finance setting;

-Strong understanding of instructional design of Workday

Finance;

-Highly proficient in e-Learning software, specifically

Articulate Storyline and Rise;

-Skilled at creating knowledge checks, scenario based exercises,

and interactive tests on Storyline;

-Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional

design methodologies;

-Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS);

-Able to build learning paths by role for the end user;

-Creating documentation in Service Now;

-Learning Management Systems administration, especially reports;

and

-Highly proficient in Camtasia.
