Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Park Ridge, Illinois

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in PARK RIDGE, Illinois! The role entails high-level support and management for our client-facing services, involving handling break-fix issues, patching, day-to-day operations, and participating in large-scale projects. Our client's role requires expertise in various tech skills and will be a critical escalation point from L1 to L2/L3 support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level support for client-facing services.

  • Handle break-fix issues effectively and efficiently.

  • Perform patching procedures and manage day-to-day operations.

  • Participate in large-scale projects such as migrating from on-premises to cloud environments and interconnecting new servers.

  • Utilize expertise in Office 365, Intune 365 Exchange, security pieces, hybrid on-premises AD servers, and 365 tenants.

  • Serve as a critical escalation point from L1 to L2/L3 support.

  • Use skills in Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, Intune, Azure Active Directory, Ticketing System.

  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure effective communication channels with clients.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures in relation to IT support and management.

  • Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless client service.

    Requirements

  • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies.

  • Familiarity with Database management.

  • Knowledge and experience with EO/IR systems.

  • Experience with Lotus Notes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

  • Understanding and experience with Active Directory.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware.

  • Experience in Configuration Management.

  • Ability to provide Deskside Support.

  • Familiarity with Desktop Hardware.

  • Knowledge of Intune.

  • Experience with Azure Active Directory.

  • Ability to use Ticketing Systems effectively.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Availability to work in shifts.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure.
