Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the Legal industry, located in Parsippany, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to Accounts Receivable, including data entry, cash posting, and analysis. This role also involves making collection calls and reporting analysis data to the manager.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing

• Conduct data entry tasks with a high level of precision

• Responsible for cash posting activities to maintain accurate records

• Perform analysis tasks to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Make collection calls as necessary to manage outstanding payments

• Report analysis data to the manager, providing insights on accounts receivable status

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and manipulate data

• Perform accounting functions as needed to support the financial operations of the organization

• Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and processed correctly

• Handle check processing tasks, ensuring all payments are correctly received and recorded. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is required

• Prior experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is expected

• Ability to manage Cash Activity is essential

• Experience with Check Processing is a plus

• A degree in a related field such as Finance or Accounting is desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy is important

• Familiarity with legal industry standards and regulations is a plus

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is required.
