Robert Half Customer Experience Specialist in Parsippany, New Jersey

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry, based in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves ensuring efficient and accurate order management, customer service, and logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the entire order processing cycle, which includes receipt of purchase orders, confirmation of inventory and delivery dates, and coordination with all parties involved until the orders are delivered to the customers.

• Optimize the cost efficiency of customer shipments by leveraging ship with opportunities.

• Monitor and track efficiency gains of ship with functionality and liaise with customer service and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Utilize SAP order management system for processing orders and Microsoft Excel for tracking shipments through warehouses and carriers.

• Assist customers in streamlining order processing, enhancing customer logistics performance, and reducing total cost-to-serve.

• Manage multiple accounts: receive purchase orders, allocate inventory, confirm delivery dates, and coordinate on-time deliveries with warehouses and carriers.

• Handle returns, credits, and claims processes in line with CSR practices and policies.

• Analyze and propose improvements to overall cost-to-serve for key accounts.

• Maintain strong communication with internal and external partners.

• Utilize analytical skills to create reports and analysis to support customer service & logistics. Requirements • Proven experience in a Customer Experience Specialist role or similar customer service role in the Food & Food Processing industry

• Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and improve customer experience

• Experience in tracking shipments and managing purchase orders

• Familiarity with SAP software for managing business operations and customer relations

• Proficient in order entry processes and systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to understand and address customer needs

• Problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks

• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and targets.
