Hybrid position available! A banking client based in Morris County, NJ is currently seeking a Lead Auditor to support their commercial and consumer lending audit operations on a contract to full-time basis. The Lead Auditor will be directly responsible for leading audits of existing commercial and consumer loan clients to ensure compliance with loan covenants. Responsibilities for the Lead Auditor will include conducting walkthroughs, documenting processes, reviewing financials, and testing controls. Familiarity with loan onboarding/servicing processes, credit risk assessment reviews, and ITGC are strongly preferred. The ideal Lead Auditor will have a minimum 3 years' experience as a Lead Auditor working for lending institutions where reviewing and auditing commercial and consumer loans was their primary responsibility.

Requirements • Proficient in Audit, Audit Compliance, and Audit Management

• Capable of handling Audit Workpapers and Conducting Audits

• Experience in drafting Audit Reports

• Knowledge of Financial Statement Audits

• Ability to act as a Lead Auditor

• Aptitude to Perform Audits effectively and efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in using audit-related software and tools

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred

• Proven experience in a similar role in the audit field
