Description
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, supporting our commitment to smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:
Process and review payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
Verify timekeeping records, address discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related issues
Maintain and update payroll records, including employee deductions and benefits
Assist in preparing payroll reports and tax filings as required
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and assist with resolving issues
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate data entry and reporting
Stay up to date with federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing
Strong understanding of payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex)
Knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
