Support Desk Technicians work in an exciting client-facing capacity serving as the initial contact handling the IT requests and support needs of our clients. SDT's incredibly diverse technology skill set combined with exceptional customer service makes them the positive face of the company whenever clients call in with PC or IT System trouble. They are eager and ready to roll up their sleeves, providing not only support for clients calling in but also proactive maintenance to ensure our clients IT systems are running as optimally as possible.

Because SDT's provide technical assistance to a diverse set of clients and verticals, the experience they gain while working at Strategic is beyond measure. In an average day, one ticket may be troubleshooting a law firm's application interfacing with Adobe Acrobat, the next may be a large pharma company's need to restore archive e-mail through Office365, yet another may be an accounting firm's issue with Microsoft Teams and it's ability to add more than 14 people to a Teams call. This experience becomes invaluable and helps career-focused individuals achieve an incredible amount of diverse IT knowledge in a short period of time. That's why this position is ideal for IT enthusiasts who have a passion for working directly with different personalities and problem-solving in ever-changing environments.

    Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows-based Desktop, Laptop, and Mobile Device Administration and Support

  • Windows Server 2012/2016 Experience including Active Directory Experience

  • Router/Firewall Experience

  • WiFi Troubleshooting

  • Office365 Experience

  • Mobile Device Support (iPhone/Android)

  • Server Backup Management and Support

  • Virtualization Experience (Servers)
