Description
Our creative agency client is seeking an accounting manager to initially support multiple projects. This is a hybrid engagement after an onsite period. The ideal person will be able to manage project budgets, provide forecasting and variance vs actuals analysis, and work closely with project teams. This role will support the accounting department by coordinating assigned administrative and accounting-related activities. Responsibilities will increase as the person grows into the role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting functions. Work directly with producers providing actuals and assisting with forecasting and budgeting. Work within QuickBooks to ensure costs are recorded to proper projects. Download QuickBooks info into costs reporting templates and update estimates to complete.
Maintain all projects in QuickBooks and set up interfaces with Payroll system ADP.
General cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department. Assist with preparation of monthly project cost reports.
Oversees accounts payable function, which includes processing and reconciling all A/P and credit card transactions. Confirming contracts are in place and invoices are correct based on contract and tracked to correct project.
Reconciles bank accounts monthly.
Assist in preparation of Accounts Receivable invoices and manage collections.
Reviews and analyzes input payroll data on a bi-weekly basis. Utilizes ADP payroll system to produce accurate and timely payroll. Maintains interface between ADP and Quickbooks.
Requirements
Quickbooks is required
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
