Description

A prestigious healthcare system is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join their organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will support research budgets and forecasting for their organization. Additional duties are below:

Major responsibilities

  • Complies and analyzes financial information

  • Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.

  • Create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual report and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately

  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.

  • Performance financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

  • Attends administrative meetings.

  • Establishes and administers proper policies and procedures applicable to financial controls.

  • Ensures timely, comprehensive statistical reports are available and distributed to managers.

  • Create financial modeling

  • Prepares reports/analysis as required by the department heads.

  • Collaborates with all departments on financial and statistical needs and requests.

  • Verify accounting transaction for data accuracy in PeopleSoft to prepare financial statements and reports.

  • Assisting with Financial planning, budgeting process and financial statements

  • Develop and forecasting quarterly and annual reports

  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data and verify accuracy

  • Prepare presentation of financial modeling

    Requirements - Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management

  • Expense Analysis experience highly desired

  • Proficiency in forecasting

  • Budgeting experience

  • Quality experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Financial planning experience preferred

  • Proven knowledge of Cost Centers

  • General familiarity with Analyze Trends

  • Well-founded grasp of Operational Budgets

  • Financial analysis experience desired

  • Practical knowledge of PeopleSoft

  • Efficient with process reengineering and optimization

  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

  • Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Prior experience in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended

  • CPA/MBA preferred

  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

  • Required education: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
