Robert Half Financial Analyst in Pasadena, California
A prestigious healthcare system is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join their organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will support research budgets and forecasting for their organization. Additional duties are below:
Complies and analyzes financial information
Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
Create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual report and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately
Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
Performance financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Attends administrative meetings.
Establishes and administers proper policies and procedures applicable to financial controls.
Ensures timely, comprehensive statistical reports are available and distributed to managers.
Create financial modeling
Prepares reports/analysis as required by the department heads.
Collaborates with all departments on financial and statistical needs and requests.
Verify accounting transaction for data accuracy in PeopleSoft to prepare financial statements and reports.
Assisting with Financial planning, budgeting process and financial statements
Develop and forecasting quarterly and annual reports
Conduct thorough research of historical financial data and verify accuracy
Prepare presentation of financial modeling
Requirements - Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management
Expense Analysis experience highly desired
Proficiency in forecasting
Quality experience with Microsoft Excel
Financial planning experience preferred
Proven knowledge of Cost Centers
General familiarity with Analyze Trends
Well-founded grasp of Operational Budgets
Financial analysis experience desired
Practical knowledge of PeopleSoft
Efficient with process reengineering and optimization
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented
Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Prior experience in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Required education: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
