Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Pasadena, California

Description

We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our team in Pasadena, California. This role involves supporting various HR functions, primarily focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM) and data management tasks within the HR department. The incumbent will be expected to provide reports and analysis support, manage special projects relating to data management, and utilize technology effectively. Responsibilities:

• Provide support in running and processing ad hoc reports, offering insights on trends and/or outliers of the data

• Assist in quarterly testing for Oracle HCM and provide feedback to the HRIS Administrator, ensuring necessary follow-ups when required

• Support in ensuring that information is entered accurately and as intended; aid in the completion of data reconciliation and remediation efforts to ensure and improve data integrity

• Collaborate with the HRIS Administrator and Reporting Lead to maintain documentation and document control for people processes within the systems and applications utilized

• Assist in the roll out and maintenance of special projects relating to process improvements

• Provide support to ensure accurate data is provided to clients, including but not limited to dashboards and reporting

• Undertake other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and/or upper management.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations

• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced and changing environment

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

• Proficient in Excel and working knowledge of Smart Sheets

• Knowledge of current HR systems including Oracle HCM, Doc-U-Sign, Clear Company, or others as needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Human Resources role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software

• Knowledge of 'About Time' software is preferable

• Ability to manage Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Strong understanding of Compliance requirements in HR

• Proven experience in Employee Relations

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes

• Experience with HRIS and ATS systems and recruiting metrics

• Ability to design and implement HR policies and procedures.
