Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal role based in Pasadena, California. This role is crucial in our legal team, where you will be assisting in various aspects of legal work, including case management, trial preparation, and correspondence management. You will primarily work remotely but may occasionally be required to attend on-site client meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the managing partner and act as their support in handling emails, correspondence, letters, and note-taking

• Sit in on calls and virtual meetings and handle the necessary follow-up actions

• Assist in the investigative stage of most cases, including extracting and producing documents

• Utilize various cloud-based software for case management and documentation

• Prepare trial booklets and binders and coordinate with vendors as needed

• Assist in trial preparation, including document organization and management

• Handle calendar management, white collar criminal defense, and litigation paralegal responsibilities

• Manage client meetings and ensure all necessary documents and materials are prepared
