Description
We're looking for a skilled, permanent Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and growing company in the Pasadena, California area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include general ledger work, journal entries, reconciliations, adjusting entries and financial statement preparation. This position offers you great long-term potential and a strong compensation and benefits package. We are looking for a candidate that possess excellent GAAP accounting skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the successful growth of the firm. Located in Pasadena, California, this Senior Accountant role is with a publicly traded firm.
How you will make an impact
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in compliance with GAAP
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting required, CPA credentials are preferred
4+ years Big 4 audit experience is required
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
