Robert Half has partnered up with a growing company to bring a talented Medical Billing Specialist with strong technical and analytical skills onto their team. Situated within the Pasadena, Texas area, this position would be on a long-term contract basis. This opportunity is perfect for any go-getter who's trying to build a career in healthcare.
Key responsibilities
Organize and submit invoices to insurance organizations and patients
Take control of billing and reimbursement for set patient accounts
Band together with other effective units to uphold quality of data and consistency
Requirements - Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Previous experience with an electronic medical record system preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
Deep understanding of ICD-10
ICD-10 experience preferred
Foundational knowledge in Hospital Billing
Hospital Coding experience highly desired
Comprehensive knowledge of medical billing
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Prefer 3+ years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle
