SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Growth-Oriented Company in Peachtree Corners
A growing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, with expertise in property management systems and a focus on delivering accurate, timely financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
Use property management software to accurately integrate and report financial transactions.
Prepare and present financial reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning efforts.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other partners as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus on property management.
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Appfolio) is required.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting principles.
High attention to detail, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
