Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Pelham, Alabama. This role involves managing accounts payable processes in a dynamic workplace. Your main duties will consist of check processing, managing accounts payable, handling invoices, and using various accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire process of accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Manage the process of check processing and payment processing
• Handle and resolve all invoice related inquiries
• Utilize M3, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for various accounting tasks
• Implement and manage accounting software systems to streamline processes
• Monitor the accounts payable email inbox and address any issues promptly
• Prepare reports related to accounts payable as required
• Coordinate with the team to ensure all financial deadlines are met
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and contracts
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures
• Ability to handle Invoice processing and management
• Proficiency in M3, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
• Experience in Payment Processing
• Strong managerial and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to analyze information and make decisions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Proven experience in a similar role.
