Description
Robert Half is partnering with a well respected company in Pella who is seeking a contract employee to come in and support their accounts receivable department. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will involved managing AR Inbox, making collections calls/emails, cash applications, etc. within the accounting industry.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle AR Inbox management
• Execute collections calls and emails in a professional manner
• Accurately apply cash activities as required
• Maintain customer credit records and perform necessary updates
Requirements
Minimum 1-year experience in Accounts Receivable or a general accounting role is required.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel; Proficiency in accounting software is a major advantage.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong numerical skills and an understanding of basic accounting principles.
