This job available through Robert Half Finance may be the role for you, if you're looking for work as an Accounting Clerk where you could grow your career with a thriving company in the Import/Export field. You might be a good candidate for this reputable business's Accounting Clerk position, if you can handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). You will play a key role in order processing and inventory management. This full-time role is for an Accounting Clerk in the Pembroke, Massachusetts, area. What you get to do every single day

  • Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

  • Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed

  • Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances

  • Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing

  • Utilize a number of sources to create statements and reports

  • Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned

  • Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers

  • Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

    Requirements

-previous experience with order processing and inventory management is ideal

Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

  • Foundational knowledge in inventory controls

  • Well-founded grasp of Coordinate Logistics

  • Solid understanding of Enter Purchase

  • Inventory Records experience required

  • Inventory Tracking experience

  • Proven knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Order entry experience

  • Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

  • Outstanding data entry skills
