Robert Half Budget Analyst in Pembroke Pines, Florida
Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Budget Analyst to join our team in Pembroke Pines area for a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing budget proposals, determining funding allocation, forecasting future financial requirements, and ensuring that the budget-compliance is strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Review budget proposals and funding requests.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine value.
Collaborate with project managers to develop a final budget.
Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports.
Maintain, develop and update financial spreadsheets and databases.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to budgetary matters.
Prepare and present reports to management detailing financial activities and forecast.
Participate in budgetary planning and development.
Requirements
Bachelor or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
Proven work experience as a Budget Analyst or similar role in financial planning.
Good understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
