Robert Half Budget Analyst in Pembroke Pines, Florida

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Budget Analyst to join our team in Pembroke Pines area for a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing budget proposals, determining funding allocation, forecasting future financial requirements, and ensuring that the budget-compliance is strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review budget proposals and funding requests.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine value.

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop a final budget.

  • Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports.

  • Maintain, develop and update financial spreadsheets and databases.

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to budgetary matters.

  • Prepare and present reports to management detailing financial activities and forecast.

  • Participate in budgetary planning and development.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.

  • Proven work experience as a Budget Analyst or similar role in financial planning.

  • Good understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
