Description We are offering an opportunity for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The role involves assisting with payroll processes, utilizing advanced Excel functions, and handling high-volume data entry tasks. This short-term contract position is in the telecom industry, where you will be responsible for calculating pay and deductions and processing payroll checks.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Excel to perform advanced functions such as formulas, vlookups, and pivot tables.
• Calculate pay and deductions accurately.
• Process payroll checks efficiently.
• Assist with full cycle payroll tasks.
• Perform high-volume data entry tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure payroll processes are completed in a timely manner.
• Resolve any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
• Monitor payroll systems and report any technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to payroll. Requirements • Proficiency in check processing operations
• Demonstrated experience in managing full cycle payroll
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Excel Formulas
• Prior experience in data entry
• Ability to handle high-volume data entry tasks
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive payroll information
• Good communication skills for liaising with other departments and employees.
