Description
Robert Half has partnered up with a specialty company in the South Jersey Area seeks a thorough Staff Accountant to join their accounting department. As the Staff Accountant you will maintain financial records, complete daily accounting transactions, and conduct billing processes. This candidate must ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and posses outstanding organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Primary Responsibilities
· Maintain general ledger
· Assist with month end close
· Perform account reconciliation
· Reconcile prepaid and accrual accounts
· Complete account analysis
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Coordinate year-end audit
· Assist accounting manager as needed
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
· 2+ years of accounting experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel
· Strong numeracy and analytical skills
· High attention to detail
