About Us: We are an award-winning, well-established plaintiff law firm with twelve offices, dedicated to advocating for our clients. We are seeking a seasoned Personal Injury attorney licensed in NJ, with over five years of experience, to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Personal Injury attorney at our firm, you will handle a diverse range of cases, including auto, motorcycle, truck, and slip-and-fall accidents. You will serve as both an advocate and an ambassador for our clients, working closely with paralegals and legal assistants to achieve favorable outcomes. The ideal candidate is thorough, compassionate, and self-motivated, capable of managing complex cases from intake to verdict or settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored advice.
Develop strategies to resolve cases efficiently and effectively.
Review discovery documents to determine optimal case strategies.
Conduct and manage depositions and oral hearings with witnesses and experts.
Prepare all necessary documentation for filing cases (handling a caseload of 150).
Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to prepare comprehensive briefs for trial.
Maintain a schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences as required by each case.
Supervise two paralegals, ensuring high-quality support and case management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must have 5+ years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience.
Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
Proven ability to negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and resolve property damage claims.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Extensive trial experience.
Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
