Description
Robert Half is in search for a Senior Operational Accountant. This role is responsible for doing operational accounting for a subsidiary group. This position reports to the Controller. Responsibilities include end to end processes around payroll, AP, AR, and assisting in month end close. Please reach out if interested!
How you will make an impact
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Month end close experience
NetSuite experience ideal
